Men’s lacrosse knocks off UMass to advance to CAA Final

Shane Sturgis (Downingtown, Pa.) tallied five points and No. 9 Nittany Lion men’s lacrosse topped fourth-seeded UMass, 10-7, on Wednesday at Penn State Lacrosse Field in the CAA Semifinals. Penn State used a 5-0 run over the third and fourth quarters to overcome the Minutemen. The win was Penn State’s 10th straight and first in the postseason, advancing to the CAA Final.
