Dr. W. Douglas Krolick, 53, of Tampa, FL died Monday, March 25, 2013 at his home. He was born Dec. 10, 1959 in Clearfield, the son of the late James J. and Alice Jean (Turner) Krolick Sr.
Dr. Krolick was a graduate from the Clearfield Area High School class of 1977, the University of Pittsburgh in 1981 and Ohio School of Podiatry in 1985 as a podiatrist. He practiced podiatry in Tampa, FL and was a professor of Biochemistry at the University of Miami.
He was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.
Dr. Krolick is survived by a brother, John Krolick Jr.; a maternal aunt, Mae I. Whitehill; a paternal uncle, Thomas Krolick and his wife Carol; and several cousins, all who live in Clearfield.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., Clearfield, with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee officiating. Burial will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
