WJAC-TV: DASD Issues Statement on Death of Josh Martino

DUBOIS – DuBois Area School District officials have issued the following statement, expressing their deepest sympathy to the family of Josh Martino, according to GantDaily.com news partner WJAC-TV.
“We have been informed that Josh, a U.S. Marine, who served as a mortarman assigned to 1st Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, was killed this week in Nevada during a training exercise. Josh was a 2012 graduate of DuBois Area High School.
“Counselors have been available for students, if necessary. All flags in the school district have been lowered to half-staff in honor of Josh for his service to our country. Again, our sympathy is with the family of Josh Martino.”
