Boston, MA, United States (NewsBahn) – LeBron James scored 34 points, including the game-winning jumper in the closing seconds, as the Miami Heat edged the Boston Celtics for a 105-103 win.

The Heat have the second-longest winning streak in league history with 23 straight victories, behind only the Los Angeles Lakers (33).

The Heat needed all of LeBron’s heroics, as Jeff Green was remarkable in scoring 43 points for the Celtics.

Green was stellar on both ends of the court, collecting seven rebounds and swatting four shots.

Miami trailed much of the way, but LeBron scored 11 of his points in the final nine minutes to overcome an off-night from Dwyane Wade (16 points).

LeBron added 12 assists and seven boards in another MVP-type performance. Mario Chalmers also dropped in 21 points for the victors, who staved off their biggest challenge of late to improve to 52-14.

Paul Pierce added 17 points for the C’s, but missed a key shot late that could have extended the contest.

Boston fell to 36-30 with the setback.
