Emma Watson refutes involvement in Fifty Shades film
Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – “Harry Potter” star Emma Watson, after months of being rumored to play the starring role in the upcoming film Fifty Shades of Grey,” has expressed via Twitter that she is not so keen to be part of it.
“Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life,” the 22-year-old actress tweeted.
After several hours, over 36,000 re-tweets and over 28,000 favorites later, Watson added, “Good. Well that’s sorted then.”
Watson’s involvement in the film was recently boosted when an online hacker allegedly broke into Germany’s Constantin Film’s internal server, gaining access to company emails and documents.
As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, one document linked Watson’s name to Focus features’ adaptation of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” novel. The hacker also exposed other projects by Constantin.
Meanwhile, Watson is excited as “Perks of Being a Wallflower,” a film she stars in with Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller, has been nominated four times in this year’s MTV Movie Awards.
