Actress Gwyneth Paltrow speaks out on miscarriage, wants another child

London, England, United Kingdom (4E) – After being silent on the incident for so long, actress Gwyneth Paltrow has spoken out on the loss of her third child due to miscarriage and how she longs for another baby.

In an interview published by The Mail on Sunday over the weekend, the very private actress revealed that she suffered a miscarriage two years ago that has almost taken her life, but is nonetheless ready to give it another try.

“My children ask me to have a baby all the time. And you never know, I could squeeze one more in. I am missing my third. I’m thinking about it,” Paltrow said. “But I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn’t work out and I nearly died. So I am like, ‘Are we good here or should we go back and try again?’”

The “Shakespeare in Love” star also expressed that she thinks it may be a little late for her for another baby, considering that she has just turned 40 last year and may have “missed the window.”

Meanwhile, Paltrow speaks lovingly of her husband, Coldplay front man Chris Martin. She said, “Regardless of what happens in our marriage, I chose the best father. [Chris] is so good to the children and to know that you had kids with such a good man is a real weight off you. We are committed co-parents, we make all the decisions together and lean on each other for support.”

Paltrow and Martin, who tied the knot in 2003, live in a 33-bedroom house in London, and have two children together, Apple, 8, and Moses, 6.
