State Police Investigating Theft/Criminal Mischief Incident

PENFIELD – The Clearfield-based state police are investigating an incident of theft and criminal mischief that occurred sometime between 11:50 p.m. Monday and 2 a.m. Tuesday in Penfield.
Someone damaged a gate to a private area off state Route 153 with an unknown cutting instrument. Afterward they entered in an unknown vehicle and stole various scrap steel and items that have an estimated value of $600.
