Kansas blasts Texas Tech, advances to Big 12 semis

Kansas, MO, United States (4E Sports) – Ben McLemore exploded for 24 points as the Kansas Jayhawks cruised to a 91-63 victory over the Texas Tech Raiders Thursday at the Sprint Center.

The top-seeded Jayhawks advanced to the semifinal round of the Big 12 tournament after blasting the Raiders in their latest encounter.

After leading by 9 points 34-25 at the break, Kansas ripped the game apart with a 57-point output in the second half.

McLemore was the star of the show, shooting 8 for-12 from the field. Rio Adams had 11 points off the bench while Kevin Young and Jeff Whitey added 9 apiece.

Dejan Kravic led the way with 20 points and Jordan Tolbert added 13 markers for the Raiders.

Kansas will take on Iowa State, which defeated Oklahoma 73-66, for a spot in the Big 12 Tourney Finals.
