Police Report: Ridgway PSP

• An incident of theft/forgery/fraud occurred at 5:12 p.m. Sunday at the Wal-Mart in Fox Township. A known 25-year-old Penfield woman allegedly used a debit/credit card at Wal-Mart to purchase $59.81 worth of merchandise without a Butler woman’s permission. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
• An incident of theft from a motor vehicle occurred Saturday at the St. Joseph’s Church in Jay Township. A known 25-year-old Penfield woman allegedly entered a Butler woman’s unlocked vehicle and removed her purse and its contents. The accused proceeded to area businesses and used the woman’s credit/debit cards to purchase merchandise. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
