San Francisco, CA, United States (4E) – Singer and activist Morrissey had to postpone one of his shows due to his undisclosed medical condition, but his representative Lauren Papapietro slams reports of him being hospitalized.

On Monday, Papapietro wrote on her Twitter account, “I wonder where people get their stories sometimes! Morrissey is not/was not hospitalized in San Francisco.”

She added, “I didn’t confirm any reports of Morrissey’s hospitalization, so how did so many outlets run the story?!?”

According to True To You website, “Morrissey is presently being treated in San Francisco for ‘double pneumonia.’” Other reports also claim that the former Smiths front man was hospitalized during the weekend.

On Saturday, this announcement was made, “Due to Morrissey’s medical condition, tonight’s engagement at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco will need to be rescheduled and will now take place on May 1. All tickets previously purchased for the Regency Ballroom show will be honored on the new date.”

The singer’s real medical condition remains officially undisclosed.

Meanwhile, according to Papapietro, Morrissey will be back on stage on March 14 to perform at the Vive Latino festival in Mexico City.
