Lisbon, Portugal (4E) – After a string of rather issue-laden appearances in the UK, pop star Justin Bieber’s two-day concert in Portugal gets slashed to one day, the event venue announced.
Pavilhao Atlantico posted an announcement form the event promoter on their website. It read, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber was forced to cancel the second performance in Portugal, March 12. The Canadian singer is eager to play for the Portuguese fans on March 11.”
Moreover, ticket holders for the supposed March 12 concert were offered refunds.
The reason for the cancellation was not stated in the announcement. Bieber, who usually explains such circumstances to fans via Twitter, is mum on the subject. Other reports claim that low ticket sales is the reason for the cancellation.
Meanwhile, the 19-year-old singer has been headlining the news this week for a handful of things: a shenanigan at a London club, a verbally violent exchange with a photographer, and a late-show at his own concert, much to the rage of fans and their parents.
Bieber was also hospitalized Thursday due to a little breathing problem.
