The Heat trailed 59-49 at the end of the first half but a 28-18 run in the third allowed them to get within five points 77-73 entering the final quarter.

The fourth quarter was a back-and-forth battle with James and the Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony trading big shots. The Heat had 93-91 lead with 2:29 remaining an LeBron then capped a 6-2 run with a slam dunk to put the icing on the cake after he swiped a pass.

Carmelo Anthony recorded 32 points while JR Smith produced 13 points and 12 rebounds. The Knicks dropped to 35-21 while the Heat tied their franchise best 14th straight victory and improved to 43-14.
