Police Request Public’s Assistance in Locating Man

CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Borough police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Robert Joseph Gavlock.
On Feb. 23, Gavlock allegedly entered the Clearfield Hospital and pried open a container, causing extensive damage. He allegedly removed two handfuls of used needles/syringes. Gavlock also stole equipment from a medical kit located in the emergency room.
On Feb. 25, police conducted a traffic stop and Gavlock was the operator of the vehicle. Police received permission to search the vehicle and located drugs, drug paraphernalia and medical equipment belonging to the Clearfield Hospital.
Gavlock is charged with theft, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief and drug violations.
