Woman Charged with Striking Man with Beer Bottle

FOX TOWNSHIP – A 30-year-old Kersey woman, Marjorie Moore, is facing charges of simple assault and harassment after allegedly striking a man with a beer bottle at 5 a.m. Monday at a Cuneo Road residence in Fox Township.
According to the Ridgway-based state police, a 33-year-old Kersey man and Moore engaged in a verbal argument. The argument turned physical when Moore allegedly struck the man on the head with a 40-ounce beer bottle.
The man sustained lacerations to his head and on his right wrist from the broken bottle, state police said.
Moore was taken into custody and arraigned through the district court for one count each of simple assault and harassment. She was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
