Lucas claims third Big Ten Player of the Week honor

Penn State Lady Lion junior guard Maggie Lucas (Narberth, Pa.) was selected as the Feb. 26 Big Ten Player of the Week after averaging 21.5 points in two wins for the Lady Lions. This is the third Big Ten Player of the Week honor for Lucas this season (Nov. 26, Dec. 10) and the fourth of her career. Lucas is the first Lady Lion to garner at least three Player of the Week awards in a season since Kelly Mazzante won five weekly honors in the 2003-04 campaign.
