Bison Send Eight to AAA Northwest Region Wrestling Tournament

ALTOONA — The first round opponents for the eight Clearfield Bison wrestlers that are participating at the 2013 Northwest Region Tournament at the Altoona Area High School Fieldhouse have been announced.

Wrestlers will “clear the mats” for Round 1 on Friday March 1 at 5:00 pm. Round 2 will begin at approximately 7:15 pm, then one round of consolations will take place at approximately 9:30 pm.

Action will continue on Saturday with the second round of consolations at 10:30 am and the semifinals at 12:30 pm. A third round of consolations will take place at 3:00 pm. The all-important consolation finals will take place at 6:00 pm, followed by the Parade of Champions at 6:45 pm. The top three finishers will qualify for the PIAA State Wrestling Championships at The Giant Center in Hershey that begin on Thursday March 7.
