Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Each film has its time to shine.
“Breaking Dawn Part 2,” the final film of the Twilight Saga, has just had its moment of ‘glory’ Saturday as it won seven out of 10 trophies at the 33rd Razzie Awards.
The last leg following Bella and Edward’s story has topped many other films and won the following: Worst Picture, Worst Director (Bill Condon), Worst Actress (Kristen Stewart, “Breaking Dawn Part 2″ and “Snow White and the Huntsman”), Worst Supporting Actor (Taylor Lautner), Worst Screen Couple (Lautner and 12-year-old Mackenzie Foy), Worst Screen Ensemble and Worst Remake/Rip-Off or Sequel.
The wins make “Breaking Dawn Part 2″ the most Razzed movie for this year, but not beating out last year’s winner, Adam Sandler’s “Jack & Jill” which swept 10 out of 10 Golden Raspberry trophies.
This year’s other winners include last year’s winner Adam Sandler (Worst Actor, “That’s My Boy”), David Caspe’s “That’s My Boy” (Worst Screenplay), and acting newcomer Rihanna (Worst Supporting Actress, “Battleship”).
The Razzie Awards was held at the Continental Breakfast Room of the Holiday Inn Express Hollywood Walk of Fame hotel, not far away from the Dolby Theatre, the venue of this year’s Academy Awards.
