Oilers’ Taylor Hall gets two-game ban for kneeing Wild’s Cal Clutterbuck

New York, NY, United States (4E Sports) – The NHL has inflicted a two-game suspension Edmonton Oilers forward Taylor Hall Taylor for kneeing Minnesota Wild’s Cal Clutterbuck during their Thursday encounter.

The incident occurred at 17:27 of the third period where the 21-year-old Hall was assessed a major penalty for kneeing and a game misconduct.

The NHL’s Department of Player Safety said Hall will miss games against the Phoenix Coyotes and the Chicago Blackhawks.

Under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement, and based on his average annual salary, Hall will forfeit $9,729.72. The penalty money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.

Hall has three goals and 13 assists this season.
