Two killed, two hurt in Oklahoma medical helicopter crash

Oklahoma City, OK, United States (4E) – Two people died and two others were wounded Friday morning after a medical helicopter slammed between two buildings in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.

According to Oklahoma City Fire Department Mark Woodard, the EagleMed helicopter, an AS350, left Baptist Hospital heading to its home base in Watonga when it crashed around 5:45 a.m. between St. Ann’s Retirement Center and St. Ann’s Nursing Home.

Two helicopter passengers died and the third was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

KWTV-TV reported one person on the ground was injured while assisting during the rescue.

Investigators from the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board have arrived to investigate the incident.
