Police Report: Ridgway PSP

• An incident of theft/criminal mischief occurred sometime between 12 p.m. Dec. 9, 2012 and 4:30 p.m. Saturday at a Hollywood Road camp in Fox Township. Someone removed a splitting maul from the porch of a 71-year-old Chambersburg man’s camp. They subsequently damaged the door to the camp before fleeing the scene.
• A hit-and-run accident occurred at 2:30 a.m. Sunday on the Bennetts Valley Highway in Jay Township. A vehicle was traveling southbound, and for unknown reasons, it exited the west berm. It entered the parking lot of the Valley Farm Market, striking the gas pump and knocking it to the ground. The operator left the scene and traveled northbound. The investigation is ongoing at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgway-based state police at 814-776-6136.
• An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Friday at residence along state Route 948 in Highland Township. A 25-year-old Kane man’s 2012 Honda Civic was scratched, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgway-based state police at 814-776-6136.
