Triche buried a three-pointer and Baye Moussa added a jumper to give Syracuse a 21-20 advantage midway through the first half.

The Orange extended their lead to 15, 32-17, before the Red Storm retaliated with five straight points to cut the deficit to 10, with 3:41 remaining in the opening half.
