Tucson, AZ, United States (4E Sports) – Kaleb Tarczewski scored 26 points and Solomon Hill added 23 as the Arizona Wildcats held off the Stanford Cardinal 73-66 Wednesday at McKale Center.

The Wildcats booked their fourth straight victory, and at the same time strengthened their grip on top of the Pac-12 standings behind a big second-half effort against the upset-minded Cardinal.

Trailing 27-26 at the break, Arizona delivered a 47-39 juggernaut in the second half to blow by the Cardinal. The game was tight down the stretch, but the Wildcats closed the final four minutes with a 19-10 run to book the hard-earned win.

Dwight Powell racked up 24 points and 10 rebounds for Stanford (14-9), which had its three-game winning streak snapped.
