WJAC-TV: West Chester Student Dies of Meningitis after Visiting Penn State

CENTRE COUNTY – A West Chester University student who had meningitis while visiting Penn State’s University Park campus has died.
Health officials say the student was hospitalized shortly after his visit to Penn State last weekend.
It’s not clear where he contracted the disease.
Penn State is working with the Pennsylvania Department of Health on this and is contacting people who may have had contact with that student.
