Seoul, South Korea (4E) – Samsung is expected to release the next Galaxy smart phone this year. But there’s no definite date yet — until now. According to Samsung rumor website SamMobile, the announcement for the Galaxy S IV release is slated on March 15. But the Samsung rumor website adds that it may not be available until sometime in April in Europe and Asia. In May or June it would be available in America, Africa, and Australia.
Its predecessor, the Galaxy III, was launched in Europe and Asia before it was available in the United States.
According to TechCrunch, there are no signs pointing to a March 15 announcement date for the Galaxy IV.
“We’ve received no invitations from Samsung regarding any March 15 event, but they have plenty of time before invitations need to go out. Samsung will be attending MWC, but it would appear that they’ve reserved that event for the 8-inch Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet.”
All that’s expected to be announced this year is the new Samsung phablet, Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet.
There’s very little known about the Galaxy S IV except for its high-powered specs, which include an eight-core processor, 5-inch HD display, 13-mega-pixel camera and wireless charging.
