Jacksonville, FL, United States (4E Sports) – Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan started rebranding efforts by unveiling a new logo.
Committed to “harnessing the momentum” of bold, purposeful changes, Khan envisions the logo as a “new symbol for a new generation” in Jaguars history.
Changes in the uniforms are expected later this offseason, which the team hopes will create a boost in jersey sales and interest in the team.
The team has a new general manager in David Caldwell and a new head coach in former Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley.
Their charge is to overhaul a talent-starved roster to align with their owner’s championship drive.
That will have to come without area-product Tim Tebow, however, as Khan apparently has little interest in trading for the little-used Jets backup quarterback.
