Fairfield, CA, United States (4E) – The 13-year-old girl who disappeared last week has been found dead and without clothes in a park near her home in Fairfield, Calfornia the day after she was last seen.
According to officials, Genelle Renee Conway-Allen was spotted by surveillance cameras stepping out of a bus after attending classes at Green Valley Middle School Thursday afternoon.
Suisun City police revealed Genelle was reported missing around 5:45 p.m. by her foster home guardian.
The following day, 54-year-old Eric May found her body at the Alan Witt Park parking lot around 6:45 a.m., about five miles away from the bus stop, police said.
May said the body looked like a mannequin, adding “It hurts my soul to think someone could do that to a little girl. I’m haunted by the image of her laying there without a stitch of clothing.”
Police talked to May who was released after being questioned.
Natalie Paasch, the girl’s 20-year-old aunt, told the San Francisco Chronicle that her niece was a troubled child and had experienced a hard life moving around foster homes, along with her brother, after being abandoned by their father.
