Man Sustains Moderate Injuries in Boggs Township Accident

BOGGS TOWNSHIP – A 22-year-old Clearfield man, Ryan F. Cleaver, sustained moderate injuries after a single-vehicle accident at 11:05 p.m. Saturday on state Route 153 in Boggs Township.
According to the Clearfield-based state police, Cleaver was traveling southbound and negotiating a left-hand curve at an unsafe speed. He failed to negotiate the curve and exited the right side of SR 153. Upon exiting the roadway, the Cleaver vehicle struck a sign, ditch, numerous trees and a utility pole before coming to a rest.
Cleaver sustained moderate injuries. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident. His vehicle sustained severe damage. Cleaver was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
