Houston, TX, United States (4E Sports) – Royce White has been reinstated and will report to the Rockets’ D-League affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, on Feb. 11.

The player and the team jointly announced that they have reached “an agreement that addresses the major issues”, approved by both the NBA and the NBA Players Association.

There were disagreements between the parties surrounding White’s reported mental health issues, including the need of a specialized travel plan because of his anxiety with air travel.

White also previously refused to report for D-League assignments. The Rockets eventually suspended the rookie forward.

White was selected 16th overall in last year’s draft, but has yet to appear in a game for the Rockets.
