University Park, PA, United States (4E Sports) – Sam Thompson scored 16 points and Deshaun Thomas added 11 as the Ohio State Buckeyes bested the Penn State Nittany Lions, 65-51, Saturday at Bryce Jordan Center.

The Buckeyes captured their first back-to-back wins since losing to Michigan State Spartans in their Big Ten clash a week ago.

Ohio State absolutely dominated Penn State through the first 20 minutes, heading to the locker room with a 29-18 cushion.

Despite a better effort from the Nittany Lions on the offensive end, Ohio State maintained a double-digit up to the final second, cruising to an easy road victory.

Penn State, winless after eight Big Ten matches, got steady contributions from Jermaine Marshall (16 points) and D.J Newbill (15 points).

Meanwhile, Ohio State improved to 15-4 (5-2 in Big Ten) heading into a tilt vs. Wisconsin on January 29.
