MMA legend Anderson Silva on collision course with St-Pierre, Jones

Las Vegas, NV, United States (4E Sports) – Anderson Silva, the top-rated MMA fighter in the world, is reportedly seeking a big showdown with big names such as George St-Pierre and Jon Jones before he closed the curtain of his legendary career, UFC President Dana White confirmed Friday.
According to White, Silva in close on inking a lucrative deal that will land him colossal fights against the top Welterweight champion and light-heavyweight in the world.
“You will have both those fights before Anderson Silva retires,” White said Friday on “The Waddle & Silvy Show” “Anderson Silva is on the verge of signing a new big deal with us, and he wants big fights. That’s what he wants.”
With Silva lording on top of the middleweight division, White said there’s no problem pitting him against St-Pierre and Jones.
“The great thing about it is Anderson Silva is the greatest fighter ever in mixed martial arts. He’s 185 pounds, and he lands right in the middle of Georges St-Pierre and Jon Jones, so he can fight both of those guys,” White told ESPN radio show.
The 37-year-old Silva is coming off a successful defense against Chael Sonnen (TKO, 2nd round) and victory in the light heavyweight division Stephen Bonnar (TKO, 1st round), extending his winning streak to 16.
