Washington, United States (4E) – United States Vice President Joe Biden on Tuesday said that he is yet undecided on whether or not to run for the top post in 2016.
In a statement to CNN, Biden said that neither he nor outgoing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has decided on this matter.
He said, “There’s a whole lot of reasons why I wouldn’t run. I haven’t made that decision and I don’t have to make that decision for a while.”
When asked about his rematch with Clinton for a White House race in next elections, Biden said, “I haven’t made that judgment and Hillary hasn’t made that judgment.”
In 2008, the vice-president had unsuccessfully campaigned for Democratic nomination against Clinton.
“Everything that should be done over the next two years that I should be part of would have to be done whether I run or I don’t run. If this administration is successful, whoever is running has a better position to run. If we are not successful, whoever runs as a nominee is going to be less likely to win,” he told CNN in an interview.
