San Francisco, CA, United States (4E Sports) – Authorities are now looking into allegations that San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree sexually assaulted a woman after the team’s victory over the Green Bay Packers.

The San Francisco police have already interviewed Crabtree regarding a complaint from an unnamed woman that alleged she was sexually attacked by the football player at an unnamed hotel.

The Special Victims Unit conducted Crabtree’s with his lawyer present. The player has agreed to make himself available for possible further interviews. He was then released without any charges being filed.

The 25-year-old Crabtree is expected to play in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the Atlanta Falcons.

The 49ers, through general manager Trent Baalke, said they are aware of the allegations against Crabtree.

“The 49ers take such matters very seriously,” Baalke said in a statement. “We will have no further comment at this time as the legal process is ongoing.”

The 49ers selected Crabtree with the 10th overall pick in the 2009 NFL draft.

In the NFC divisional playoff game against the Packers, he had nine receptions for 119 yards and two touchdowns.
