Everett, MA, United States (4E) – The principal of a high school in Middlesex County, Massachusetts has been suspended without pay for two days after showing a video filled with intense images to introduce himself to students last week.
According to reports, the video displayed Principal Erick Naumann walking the empty halls of the Everett High School dressed in a leather jacket and wearing sunglasses just like “The Terminator” and when asked by a teacher where the students have gone, he answered that they have been “Naumannated.”
The video was shown to students on January 7 and most students believe it has been misinterpreted.
The school committee met Monday night to discuss Naumann’s future.
Naumann has been in the Everett school system for 15 years.
Media teacher Roy Barrows, who assisted in making the video, was also suspended for two days without pay.
