Police Report: Clearfield PSP

An 81-year-old Lecontes Mills man sustained minor injuries after a single-vehicle accident that occurred at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday on the Shawville – Croft Highway in Goshen Township.

Donal L. Stiner, 81, of Lecontes Mills was traveling eastbound when he lost control of his vehicle near a curve in the roadway. His vehicle exited via the south berm and impacted a snow-covered embankment before overturning onto its driver’s side.

Stiner was removed from his vehicle by mechanical means by the Lawrence Township Police Department.  He was transported to the Altoona Hospital for treatment of minor injuries by Clearfield EMS.

Stiner was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident. He’ll be cited for roadways laned for traffic.
