Lake Tahoe, NV, United States (4E Sports) – LPGA Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam cut off the tip of her left pointer finger while slicing chicken for dinner on Jan. 3.
Her husband, Mike McGee, said that Sorenstam was rushed to an urgent care center where the wound was closed with five stitches.
She tweeted a photograph of the gruesome wound Tuesday.
“She’s fine, though. No damage other than the outside. Skiied the next day and has been back at it in the kitchen,” said her husband.
Sorenstam hopes to have the stitches out in a week.
