Jewelry Store Robbed at Gunpoint in State College

UNIVERSITY PARK – An armed robbery occurred at 10:25 a.m. today at Kranich’s Jewelers, 216 E. College Ave., in downtown State College.

Suspects have been described as three African American males who were wearing black hoodies, and one was carrying a black duffel bag.

One suspect brandished a silver pistol. No details on their whereabouts are known at this time. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.

State College Borough police are handling the incident; anyone with information should call the borough police at 814-234-7150.
