State Police: Man Attempts to “Befriend” Bank Employees with Marijuana

WOODWARD TOWNSHIP – A 34-year-old Houtzdale man is facing drug charges after he attempted to “befriend” bank employees with marijuana, reported the Clearfield-based state police.

At 7:10 p.m. Friday, the man pulled up to the drive thru window at CNB Bank in Woodward Township. While at the window, he placed marijuana in the mechanical money exchange drawer. Bank employees immediately contacted state police and reported the incident.

Charges were filed against the man through the district court, state police said.
