Snowshoe Hike Set for Saturday at Sinnemahoning

January 7, 2013 at 6:00 AM by · Leave a Comment

AUSTIN – A Winter Trails Day Snowshoe Hike will be offered at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Sinnemahoning State park.

You can get out and enjoy the snow. You will join Sinnemahoning State Park’s naturalist for a chance to experience the Lowlands Trail on snowshoes.

A small number of snowshoes in a variety of sizes will be available for use on a first-come, first-served basis. The hike is on fairly level terrain, and approximately one-mile long.

If the amount of snow present is insufficient for snowshoeing, a regular hike will be substituted. You should meet at the new Wildlife Center on Park Road near the Potter/Cameron county line.
