Police Report: Clearfield PSP

  • A 30-year-old Grassflat man sustained moderate injuries after a single-vehicle accident at 4 a.m. Saturday on Powell Street in Morris Township. He was traveling eastbound when his vehicle drifted rightward and impacted with a tree along the shoulder. The man was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges are to be filed once state police receive blood test results. State police were assisted at the scene by the Morris Township Volunteer Fire Department and the Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services.
  • An incident of theft had been reported at 1 a.m. Jan. 2 on Ida Street in Woodward Township. Someone had allegedly stolen four chickens, a goat and a Great Daniff dog from a 35-year-old Houtzdale man’s property. However, in an updated report, state police indicated there weren’t any animal stolen from the property.
