Obituary Notice: Diane E. Lance

Diane E. Lance, 77, of Clearfield died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at the Clearfield Hospital. She was born April 9, 1935 in Tonawanda, NY, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Eleanor Howland.

She is survived by two children, David Lance and his wife, June of Clearfield and Judith Hogan of North Tonawanda, NY; four grandchildren, Roseanna D. and John W. Lance, Robert Hogan and his wife, Heather and Daniel Hogan; two great-grandsons, Charlie and Dawson; a sister, Helen Frazier and her husband, William of FL; and a brother, Donald Howland and his wife, Dorothy of Amherst, NY.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley O. Lance on Dec. 25, 1988 and two brothers, Benjamin and Jim Howland.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the White Chapel Memorial Park, Amherst, NY with Pastor Michael Polzella officiating.

Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Monday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield.
