Police Report: Clearfield PSP

An incident of burglary/theft occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 5:30 a.m. Thursday in Beccaria Township. Someone entered a strip mine site that belonged to EP Bender Coal. Once there they removed nine batteries from heavy equipment and also broke into storage trailers. They removed a first aid kit, grease and anti-freeze. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
