Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

- An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between 12:10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday on Dogwood Drive in Rush Township. Someone damaged the rear window of a vehicle that belonged to an 84-year-old Philipsburg man. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
- No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 5:30 a.m. Saturday on state Route 970 in Rush Township. Harold L. Hummel Jr., 34, of Osceola Mills was traveling southbound when a deer ran onto the roadway. Hummel swerved onto the right shoulder and struck a tree. His vehicle was towed from the scene. Hummel was wearing his seatbelt.
