No injuries were reported after a two-vehicle accident at 12:49 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Susquehanna Avenue and Schofield Street in Curwensville Borough. Edward H. Lines, 48, of Curwensville was traveling westbound on Schofield Street, while Amber D. Stricek, 28, of Curwensville was traveling southbound on Susquehanna Avenue. The Lines vehicle stopped and then proceeded to cross Susquehanna Avenue. The Stricek vehicle then struck the rear, passenger’s side of his vehicle. State police determined both were at fault for the accident. Lines was cited for stop signs and yield signs and Stricek for failure to drive at a safe speed. Both were also driving with suspended licenses. State police were assisted by the Curwensville Volunteer Fire Department.
