State Police Investigating Camp Burglary

RUSH TOWNSHIP – The Philipsburg-based state police are investigating a camp burglary that occurred sometime between 12:01 a.m. Dec. 20 and 12 a.m. Dec. 24 on Myers Run Road in Rush Township.

Someone entered the camp after damaging a window. Once inside they damaged both the front and back doors. In addition, they stole several totes with various camp items inside them and then fled the scene.

The total amount stolen is approximately $450 worth of camp items. The total amount damaged is approximately $1,100, state police said. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
