- No injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident at 5:40 a.m. Saturday on the Clearfield-Shawville Highway in Lawrence Township. Ralph L. McGonigal, 41, of Frenchville was traveling southbound near the Sheetz gas station. Darrin L. Graham, 47, of Woodland was traveling in the same direction ahead of McGonigal and turning into the Sheetz parking lot. McGonigal wasn’t able to stop and rear-ended the Graham vehicle. Both McGonigal and Graham were wearing their seatbelts.
- An incident of harassment occurred at 1 a.m. Saturday at Sutton’s Bar in Morris Township. A 36-year-old Philipsburg man allegedly engaged in a physical altercation, and he was physically removed from the bar. He and a 53-year-old Hawk Run man engaged in a physical altercation outside the bar during the process. Charges have been filed against both men through the district court.
- No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident that occurred at 10:44 p.m. Sunday on Henderson Street in Woodward Township. Carole L. Dimmick, 64, of Clearfield was traveling northbound and failed to stop at the intersection of Henderson Street and Atlantic Avenue. Her vehicle struck an embankment. She was cited for the stop sign violation. Dimmick was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
- No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 11:10 a.m. Monday on state Route 969 in Greenwood Township. Barbara J. Vaughn, 61, of Mahaffey was negotiating a left-hand curve in the roadway. She lost control of her vehicle, causing it to exit the right berm, where it struck the guiderail. The Vaughn vehicle then overturned before coming to a rest in the middle of the roadway on its roof. Vaughn and her passenger, Melanie Vaughn, 39, also of Mahaffey were wearing their seatbelts. The Vaughn vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. The Curwensville Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services assisted at the scene.
