Long Island, New York man arrested for attempted murder

New York, NY, United States (4E) – A 31-year-old man has been arrested Saturday for the brutal stabbing Thursday night of a man in Valley Stream, New York.
Police said Garth Blair has been charged with second-degree attempted murder after he stabbed a 23-year-old man several times in the Green Acres Mall parking lot at 5:48 p.m. on Thursday.
Blair escaped but the victim, who was brought to the hospital in critical but stable condition, managed to give police information about the incident, according to authorities.
Police was able to track down the suspect and he was arrested Saturday in Jamaica, Queens.
