Philippines country boy plucks seed pods from moringa tree

Manila, Philippines (4E) – Gradeschooler Zoel Lapada, 11, plucks a seed pod of a moringa or drumstick tree at the family’s backyard in the village of San Fernando in Victoria town, Tarlac province, northern Philippines on Friday.

The seed pods from the tree locally known as malunggay are used as ingredient for a local dish. The boy gave the seed pods to a family visitor from the city.
