Three cops shot in New Jersey police station, suspect killed
Camden County, NJ, United States (4E) – Three officers were injured after gunshots erupted at a police station in Camden County, New Jersey early Friday morning and the suspected gunman has been fatally shot.
According to Police Chief Harry Earle, the shooting happened at the Gloucester Township police station about 5:45 a.m. when a domestic violence suspect was being booked.
Officials said the suspect managed to grab a weapon and fired on three officers.
The shooter was shot and pronounced dead at the scene, revealed police.
It is reported that one officer suffered serious injury and is being treated at the hospital, the other two were treated for bullet-graze wounds and have been released.
