Woman fatally shot in Colorado parking garage

Greenwood Village, CO, United States (4E) – A woman in her 20s has been shot to death in an apartment complex parking garage in Greenwood Village, Colorado Thursday morning.

Greenwood Village Police said the unidentified woman, who was shot at least twice, was discovered between two cars.

There were possible signs of a struggle on the ramp between the third and fourth floors of the garage located at the Promenade Place apartments on South Ulster Street, added officials.

Witnesses told police they heard the gunshots at 7:15 a.m.

Police revealed the call received by officials probably originated from the victim’s phone.

A Jeep believed to be connected to the slaying was found at the Bellview light rail station and authorities said investigation is ongoing.
