Fire Marshal Investigating Garage Fire in Ridgway Township

RIDGWAY TOWNSHIP – The investigation is ongoing into a garage fire that ignited at 6:50 a.m. Monday at 3686 Old State Rd. in Ridgway Township. The victim has been identified as David Gralak of Ridgway, according to the Ridgway-based state police.

The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal and the Ridgway Fire Department investigated the origin and cause of the fire. The fire destroyed a 32-foot by 26-foot, wooden frame garage.

A vehicle, all-terrain vehicle, tractor and numerous other items were also destroyed, state police said. Damage is estimated at more than $100,000. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

The Crystal Fire Department assisted at the scene.
